in Action!
After the summer break, Coolmine
are back in rehearsal from Wednesday 10 September. Our rehearsals
take place in St. Francis Xavier School, Roselawn (entrance
through Roselawn Glade). Rehearsals commence at 8pm. We are
open for membership (male and female) until end September.
Rehearsals over the coming weeks will be for our winter variety
show - working title "Music for Fun" which will take
place in Draíocht
from Wednesday 12 to Friday 14 November. (9

Bustin'
Out All Over!!
Coolmine Musical Society maintained it's strong record when
Carousel received a total of five nominations for the
annual AIMS awards. At the awards ceremony in Killarney on 14
June, Carousel took four of the awards and overall second place

coming to Draíocht to boogie-on-down with the best of
the 70's! Coolmine Musisical society present Boogie Nights at

Night
As part of our fundraising activities,

Coolmine
Musical Society and the Special Olympics
We are honoured to have been invited to participate with a number
of other musical and choral societies in the opening ceremonies
of the Special
Olympics 2003 in Croke Park, Dublin in June 2003. In January
at the National concert Hall, Dublin, we recorded the choral
section of a new piece by composer Shaun Davey which will feature
in the opening ceremony and look forward to our continuing participation.
